Mr. Hostetter spent over 25 years with Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels, one of the fastest-growing franchise systems in the U.S., where he led training and corporate operations, including the oversight of 13 corporate-owned stores. During his tenure at Auntie Anne’s, he supported the company’s rapid growth, both domestically and internationally, training franchisees and licensees from across the globe on all aspects of operating an Auntie Anne’s restaurant. He strategically identified gaps in learning, and delivered digital solutions for manuals, guides and videos, and providing regional training for over 1,000 managers. Mr. Hostetter’s passion for operational and service excellence began when he started with Auntie Anne’s as a crew member to help pay his way through college. He was later recognized with 15 consecutive years of a 97% or better in training and operations-related rankings in the organization’s annual FranSurvey results. Following Auntie Anne’s acquisition by FOCUS Brands, he went on to lead restaurant opening training, developed consistencies, and implemented best practices across the portfolio of multiple brands including Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Carvel, and Jamba Juice. Mr. Hostetter also spent two years at Saladworks and WOWorks where he held the roles of Vice President, Operations and Vice President, Operations Services. He was instrumental in rolling out Virtual Brands and developing project plans for Saladworks, Frutta Bowls, Zoup, Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh, The Simple Greek, and Barberitos in order to implement a consistent way of doing business with Communication Cadence, Business Planning, Franchisee/Restaurant Support, New Restaurant Openings, Manuals & Compliance, People Programs, and Training. Mr. Hostetter holds a B.A. in Business Management, is a Certified Hospitality Trainer, and a lifetime member of CHART (Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers).
