Mr. Leehan held senior leadership roles at Pearle Vision Center, The Greetings Express, Walmart Health & Wellness, SoloHealth, ReadingGlasses.com, Lenscrafters, and Clear Eye. He was also the Managing Director of Paradigm Leadership Strategies, LP, a privately held consultancy firm focused on revenue and market share growth, operations excellence, and customer service superiority. Mr. Leehan was an integral member of the leadership team at Walmart that developed and established the highly successful Walmart Vision Center concept. From concept stage in 1992 of 40 Vision Centers and $18M in annual revenue, he was a member of the leadership team that expanded the Walmart Vision Center concept to over 3,000 locations in the United States, exceeding $1.5B in sales. His initial responsibilities encompassed business development, market share strategy growth, professional services, and operations, in a 13-state region in the western United States. Subsequently, he oversaw operations and the business concept development in the western half of the United States of over 1,000 locations, exceeding $550M in revenue. His career at Walmart culminated with responsibility overseeing both pharmacy and vision centers operations producing $1B in annual revenue. Mr. Leehan’s accomplishments at Walmart included the prestigious Sam M. Walton Leadership Award, as well as Regional Manager of the Quarter, Regional Manager of the Year, Merchant of the Quarter, and the Merchant of the Year for the VPI (Volume Producing Item) Awards. Mr. Leehan has also held leadership roles at several other companies. He spearheaded the transition at Pearle Vision Center in the Dallas, Texas market, converting corporate clinics to franchise locations. Ultimately, he held the position of National Franchise Director. As Vice President of Operations at The Greetings Express, he led business development of the retail supply chain entity from 20 to over 220 locations in national convenience store chains in two major economic trade regions in the United States. As Director of Client Services at Advanced Telemarketing, he led the client services team which managed $28M in annual revenue. At SoloHealth he successfully negotiated contracts with Walmart and Sam’s Club which subsequently resulted in a rollout of their health and wellness kiosk’s in over 3,000 locations in the United States. As the Vice President of Operations and Sales at ReadingGlasses.com Mr. Leehan oversaw optical lab operations, logistics, merchandising and customer service. His tenure culminated in a 3% speed-to-market improvement of customer orders. Recently, Mr. Leehan lectured and taught a class over a seven-year period at the SMU, Cox School of Business in the Business Leadership Center, Dallas, Texas. His program focused on Operations Excellence, where he defined four key principles that drive success in any business model or industry. At SMU he earned the prestigious Teachers Excellence Award. He also earned the Dale Carnegie Award for Highest Achievement in his class. Mr. Leehan holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, and an A.S. in Business Administration from Luzerne Junior College in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. He holds several executive level certificates in operations, business leadership, retail sales, customer service, public speaking, and training and development.
