CFE Designation for Senior Consultant

iFranchise Group Senior Consultant Jeff Abbott Earns
Certified Franchise Executive Designation

Homewood, Illinois — iFranchise Group Senior Consultant Jeff Abbott was recognized in February 2013 as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives.  Abbott completed a comprehensive course of study in franchise management offered by the institute, which is the academic branch of the International Franchise Association’s Educational Foundation.

More than 300 IFA-member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program, which provides enrollees and graduates benefits such as specialized knowledge, industry recognition, peer-level networking, and professional standing.

Abbott joins seven other consultants with iFranchise Group and its affiliate who have received the CFE designation. Candidates are required to complete a rigorous course of study to earn the CFE designation. The program enhances franchise professionals’ understanding of the franchise industry’s fundamental and complex aspects.

During his multi-decade consulting career, Abbott has worked with clients in the retail, automotive, foodservice, manufacturing, investing, marketing, publishing, package delivery, and financial industries.  He has consulted with a variety of business to consumer concepts in the U.S. and international markets.  Most recently, Abbott served as Acting President during the startup phase of a new franchise division of a top automotive company in the Middle East.
